The Parelli Bosal is seen as a sort of progression from the rope Hackamore. Offering the feel and stability of a rope Hackamore but allowing the rider to transition towards a snaffle bridle, the Bosal is a staple of the horseman's tack room and a vaquero tradition.
The nosepiece has a 1/2" circumference and the Bosal headstall leather measures 1/2". We recommend the Mecate Reins to use with it, however you can also use the horseman's reins.
Our striking Wheat-Colored Bosal is sure to become a barn favorite!

All materials that create the Parelli Bosal are handmade in the USA. The rope core is the same waxed polyester that we use in our Parelli lead ropes and halters with 5 strands twisted around an 8 strand parallel nylon cord that is durable and more resistant to moisture than other ropes. The nose band and heel knot are braided from the very best Herman Oak harness leather, and all leather strings are hand cut and beveled. The nose band is 16 plait and the heel button is 8 byte with interweave.
Reins not included.
